Traditional Georgian pub, former haunt of Charles Dickens, once known for bare-knuckle fights.

The Lamb and Flag is a Grade II listed public house at Rose Street. It's just a stone's throw from some of London's famous theatres in Covent Garden making it perfect for a pre-show drink, a post-shopping lunch or a relaxing evening meal.  Enjoy a Fuller's beer and delicious meals.

It’s easy to see why this was a favourite watering-hole of Charles Dickens as the range of drinks still draws locals and tourists alike. And while Lamb & Flag may be a history-hunter’s dream, there’s nothing dated about the delicious fresh food.

The diverse menu is created from fresh, local produce and features authentic, traditional English pub cooking. With a popular Sunday roast it's one of the best places in Covent Garden to eat.

With a constantly changing range, you’ll always be able to sample something new and interesting at The Lamb & Flag, whether it’s a craft lager, seasonal ale, cider, spirit, artisan soft drink or one of their exclusive wines.

Right in the heart of London's vibrant West End, this historic Covent Garden pub is surrounded by some of the city's finest theatres and places of entertainment. Trafalgar Square is just a few minutes' walk away, and of course Covent Garden market is right on our doorstep.

If it's entertainment you're after, the list of theatres within striking distance of The Lamb and Flag is staggering; The Theatre Royal on Drury Lane, The Palace Theatre, The Fortune Theatre, The Wyndham Theatre, The Duke of York's Theatre and of course St Martin's Theatre with Mousetrap, the world's longest-running play.

For the more artistically minded, just down the road is the National Gallery (which is still free) and the National Portrait Gallery, making the Lamb & Flag a perfect place for a pre-dinner drink or a post-show meal.
